Parylene Advantage

  • The Parylene process does not include a liquid phase, so the coating will not accumulate in low areas, will not bridge the substrate, or exhibit liquid properties such as meniscus or capillary action.
  • Parylene film is a pure, polycrystalline and amorphous linear polymer with excellent dielectric properties, gas barrier properties and mechanical properties, which enable it to meet coating requirements in a very thin layer.
  • The low static and dynamic friction coefficient makes it have dry film lubricity.
  • The room temperature deposition process makes Parylene suitable for many substrates, including ferrite, rubber, silicone rubber, paper, resin, plastic, silicon, metal and even particulate materials.
  • Since Parylene is very effective in very thin coatings, precision substrates like electronic sensors or diaphragms can be protected without significant mechanical or load effects.
  • Complete surface conformability
  • No pinholes and stress-free applications
  • Medium and moisture barrier
  • Resistant to acid, alkali and organic solvents
  • Fixable components
  • Superior electrical insulation
  • Low dielectric constant
  • Biocompatibility and biological stability (antibacterial)
  • Optical clarity
  • Weather resistance (-200~450℃)
  • We offer three parylene variants with unique electrical and physical characteristics. We will advise and help you choose the variants and processes that best suit your unique product needs.
