Paco Nano provides military grade, IPC-CC-830 and USP grade VI approved dimers. These are the key raw materials used in the Parylene coating process. In addition, we offer commercial parylene variants, each with its own unique electrical and physical characteristics. The most common types of raw materials for Parylene are Dimer C and Dimer N and Dimer F. We provide the best and most suitable variants for your unique products.
Parylene-N: The basic member of this series, parylene, is a completely linear, highly crystalline material. Xylene is a main medium with a very low loss factor. It has the highest dielectric strength for three different benzenehexenes, and the dielectric constant is independent of frequency. It can penetrate fissures more effectively than the other two versions because of the higher molecular activity that occurs during the deposition. In high frequency applications, it has been widely used due to the low loss factor and dielectric constant.
Parylene-C: The most commonly used product with excellent barrier effect. Based on its particularly remarkable hydrophobic properties, it also has high moisture resistance. High elasticity, so it can be used for plastic and elastomer coatings. Rapid growth of layer thickness (up to 10 µm/h)
Parylene-F: Because it can withstand higher heat load and ultraviolet radiation than parylene C and parylene N, it is gradually being used in high temperature and strong ultraviolet applications.
